The young Barça winger Roony Bardghji has been called up for Swedish national side for the first time for the team’s October international fixtures. The Swedes face two key home matches in their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign against Switzerland in Solna on 10 October (kick off 8.45pmCEST) and against Kosovo in Gothenburg on 13 October (kick off 8.45pm CEST).
The culer forward has been regular in the Swedish youth teams up to U21 level, captaining the side in their recent European U21 Championship qualifiers in September, scoring once and providing an assist in their two games last month.
Bardghji came to Barça in the summer of 2025 from Danish club FC Copenhagen and under Hansi Flick the Swedish international has already made three appearances in La Liga for the first team.
